Thematic Workshops
2025 – 2026
Budapest
13 & 14 November 2025
THEMATIC WORKSHOPS OBJECTIVES
Our Thematic Workshops aim to bring our community together in a cohesive and collaborative way around challenging and promising technologies. These workshops serve as a platform to envision tomorrow’s innovation projects and enhance the quality of our project proposals.
Through a series of focused sessions, we study and analyze key technology areas relevant to our community, identify challenges and opportunities, and brainstorm to prepare impactful project proposals.
Ultimately, these efforts contribute meaningfully to the ECS Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (ECS-SRIA).
THEMATIC WORKSHOPS FOCUS AREAS
Edge to cloud cognitive continuum
Explore how AI, edge devices, and cloud systems seamlessly work together to drive smarter, faster decisions. Learn about adaptive intelligence, autonomous orchestration, and privacy-aware, sustainable computing. See how digital twins, semantic integration, and hyper-distributed services are shaping the future of connected systems.
